Fostering Resilience as an Advocate for your Child's Wellbeing
Therapy is an intricate process that requires connection, collaboration and dedication. Children experience unique challenges that are best treated with guidance from a professional and support from their peers.
Utilizing evidenced based practices, I provide children with a safe space to process the everyday challenges of youth and the complex developmental issues that come with trauma. I practice from a trust based relational intervention (TBRI) perspective and firmly believe that therapeutic rapport is the foundation of a successful working relationship with children.
I have a history within the child welfare and addictions field and hold certifications in shame informed therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trust based relational interventions and integrative sex therapy (transgender, LGBTQIA+, kinks).
I value addressing sensitive topics such as self-esteem, body issues, self-worth, healthy relationships, setting boundaries, trauma, sex and drugs and alcohol. All topics that can be difficult to navigate in youth.
I offer home based individual therapy sessions with children and a variety of group therapy topics. My sessions are exclusively self-pay with a sliding scale fee.
Group Therapy Topics:
- Anger Management
- Prosocial Engagement
- Navigating Divorce
